We are a Tandon-based organization that works on social good initiatives and professional development. We hold strong familial bonds to uplift our community and each other.
The purpose of Theta Tau is to develop and maintain a high standard of professional interest among its members, and to unite them in a strong bond of fraternal fellowship.
Welcome to our website! My name is Johnathan Huang and I am the Regent of the Theta Epsilon Chapter of Theta Tau at New York University for the 2024-25 school year.
Currently with over 100 Chapters and Colonies throughout the nation, Theta Tau is the oldest, largest and foremost engineering fraternity in the nation and we are proud to be apart of its community. Theta Tau strives to develop engineering leaders for service, profession, and brotherhood. Between planning community service events, forming networks between over 40,000 brothers nationwide and creating lasting connections, we are always looking for ways to improve our chapter and our community.
Our chapter at NYU was founded in November of 2016 by a group of thirteen friends who wanted to cultivate a community outside of the classroom and bring more variety into their lives and build a network to last them years after graduation. Since then, we have grown immensely to over 140 alumni and active members with various majors and backgrounds and since then we have been nationally recognized as the most professional chapter of Theta Tau in 2018. Everyday we strive to better ourselves and each other academically and socially with honesty and integrity.
Feel free to explore our website, check out our social media accounts, say hi to us during recruitment week, and ask us any questions whether that be over email or around campus.
Thank you,

Through the many rapports in our organization, we help each other grow. We fortify fulfilling relationships and lifelong connections to create a memorable and lasting experiences. We hold various events from game nights and barbecues to excursions for off-campus activities like skiing or hiking. These events make us closer fraternally, in spite of differing academic and professional paths.
